What energy efficiency numbers do you compare when buying new windows?

I’m sure you are contemplating a couple different brands of windows for you home remodel.  In the list of things to consider, you should also take a look at the efficiency of those windows…after all this is a green site! 

The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy has compiled a really nice web page of the things to look for in your next home remodel window purchase.  What is really great is that they provide measurements and features you can compare on the windows you are considering.  This will help you determine which brand is more efficient – and that may sway your final decision.
