even two years old info is mostly good

Fafco still appears to be leader but perhaps Rob's local dealer needs a swift kick in the derriere? ;-)

Sunfence is gone as Paul learned. The domain was originally registered through one of those Euro domain companies and expired in October of 2007. It has since passed hands to a domain name re-marketer / services provider in the state of Washington.

Have a great day!

I need two replacement panels for my Fafco system, they are 4' x 12'. Is there someone I can buy these from instead of going through a local dealer?

Can you provide an email or contact for solar pool heater fences? I have not been able to find this on the internet. I did try the link to Sunfence above.

Thanks,

Hello All,

Just a thought that I want to put out there about energy. It has to do with heat exchangers and their surfaces. Why are we still working with flat and round surfaces to control and dissipate energy. Why not a 4x8 surface of plastic or copper that has been stamped or molded into raised squares against a flat surface channeling an exchange media between them for maximum surface area contact. Or two 4x8 sheets of material with pyramid like protrusions interlocking the pyramids with a fluid channeling gape between them.
You can see this would have solar applications too. That’s all I have to say because I don't have any money to take advantage of the idea.

respectfully,

frangr

We also have an inground hot tub. Both pool & hot tub are presently heated by a gas furnace, which needs replacing. Will solar also heat a hot tub adequately, or will we still need a gas furnace? Thank you.

<blockquote cite="Aquatherm Industries
Solar collector manufacturer. Claim 125,000+ installations of their solar collectors The collector systems are called Ecosun Solar Pool Heating Systems, and designed into systems by a nationwide distribution network. The website is semi-informative.">

Thanks for the mention - Good page, plenty of useful information gathered in one place! FYI, Aquatherm Industries' <a href="http://www.warmwater.com" title="WarmWater.com" rel="nofollow"> site has been redesigned since this page was published, and is certainly worth another look if it's been some time since you last visited.

I'm not sure what it might take to be introduced as a manufacturer of solar pool heating systems on your site . I do believe we have something different than the rest. Check our site out at Gullsolar.com and look at our product sun coil it is an interesting design and has some features that flat plate rectangular collectors don't. We were introduced on build it solar .com with a great deal of sucess. The product was introduced in 1993 to our contractor market and sales are increasing each year. If you are looking for mutually beneficial agreement please contact me email or call me at 1-800-748-6286 Mike Kennedy Thanks
