Hi Mary,

The EcoTop product seams much like stone. The EcoTop website has an installation page where you can find more detail. Here is the link:

We purchased ecotop in April and are now ready for our kitchen install. My installer is concerned about minimizing seams in installation. Were seams an issue in the kitchen you described? Has your installer in Washington done many of these and if so do you think you could convey your installer's name to me so my guy in Oklahoma can talk to him/her? Don't know if you have access to my email, but if my installer is concerned, I'm concerned.

Hi Laura,

I have seen the Ivory in a 2x2ft countertop, and of the present colors it is the one I like the most for a kitchen. It is a solid color, and there are no patterns in it, so it could appear to be shallow to some. It did not feel that way to me, and I could definitely see how you would feel that way if you were looking at a small 2x2inch sample.

The product is inexpensive enough that you could contact them, and purchase a larger sample before you make you decision.

Eve--we are looking at the ivory, but from the small sample we are concerned that there seems to be little "depth". Can you comment on that, having seen it in the large size? Thanks.

I just installed EcoTop on a job in Ballard and we just loved it, not to mention the customer loved it. I showed the other paper products to my customer and they were concerned with the dark color and the color change issues. When we showed them the Ecotop and the light colors along with a warranty against color change they were sold. We put in the Ivory color on FSC cherry cabinets and it looks great. The fabricator who works with all the paper products raved about how easy it was to work with.
