If you follow green building
and architecture, you’re probably aware that size does indeed matter.
Meet Gary Chang, a Hong Kong architect who transformed his
pint-sized living space — a cramped 330-square foot apartment typical
for densely populated Hong Kong — into a super-efficient, 24-room
bachelor pad with the help of an ingenious system of sliding walls,
panels, and gizmos.
Chang’s apartment — dubbed “The Domestic Transformer" — truly has to
be seen to be believed so check out the below video from World’s
Greenest Homes. The New
York Times also profiled
Chang and his amazing mini-mansion. Would you able to
live in this kind of set-up? Or are actual rooms irreplaceable?
